25 years of Warhammer 40.000! Nachomon´s Space marines are back in 2012!

This my personal homage to the old MK VI "Corvus" Space Marine armor from the first edition, Rogue Trader. I´ve got some of those original plastic and metal minis, and they´re authentic relics for me!

Are the yellow and grey stripes standard on chain bayonets, I thought those were exclusive to the iron warriors? Excellent art though

Actually, you can notice the industrial stripe lebels on many different eleents of space marines. This is a homage to 1st edition marine miniatures, when they used even more strange designs fro the armor, as harlequin-esque squares or tons of bi-color designs.

I always preferred the Mk.6 armour. I unfortunately no longer have any original Mk.6 miniatures anymore, did manage to acquire a Mk.5 along the way somehow.

i personily never liked "beaky" armor im more of a fan of MK7 and MK8 ( which i know are basiclly the same thing ) to me corvus armor seems not as sturdy ( could be wrong ) but still its a great picture and all who say other wise shall feel the wrath of my chainsword and bolter
